7 Effective Home Remedies For Peeling Lips During Winters

Winters are not just about warm woolens and bonfires. Lack of moisture in the air and as well as dry and dullness of the skin is one of the early sign that winter is approaching. Lack of moisture also causes chapped and peeling lips that might be embarrassing as well as painful. As the lips become dry, we usually develop a tendency to lick them too often. This makes the saliva take away whatever natural moisture was left, leaving the lips dry, flaky and peeled. Although, it is a little tricky to manage your lips during the winters, here are some easy and effective ways to keep them from drying or peeling during the harsh climate.

1. Glycerin:

Glycerin helps in absorbing and retaining moisture. Being one of the best natural humectants, it is commercially used in soaps, moisturizers, body lotions, shampoos and other beauty and body care products. Take a few drops of glycerin on your palm and apply it on your lips before going to bed. This beauty ritual during the winters will help in healing the damaged skin cells and keep your lips soft and hydrated.
